A Visit to William Blake's Inn is one of two picture books that has won the Newbery Award for excellence in writing. It was written by Nancy Willard and illustrated by Alice and Martin Provensen. The other is Last Stop on Market Street, which won in 2016. It was written by Matt de la Pena and illustrated by Christian Robinson.
