Margaret Wise Brown born in Brooklyn, New York on May 23, 1910. Brown died in Nice, France on November 13, 1952. Known for her innate sense of childhood and the ability to see the world through the eyes of children. During her short life, she published over 35 picture books. Many of her titles have been reissued with original or new illustrations.
